Production Specification

Part of the groov EPIC® system, the GRV-IACI-12 is an AC discrete input module that can sense status from devices such as pumps, fans, and motors that use an 85–140 VAC/VDC signal. The 12 channels on this module are isolated from each other (channel-to-channel isolation). The module cover includes an LED that indicates status and a touch-sensitive pad. Touch the pad and the groov EPIC processor displays information about the module, including specifications and a wiring diagram.

The GRV-IACI-12 module can sense status from up to 12 devices and offers a full set of features, including:
  • On/off state
  • On/off latching
  • On/off totalization
  • Frequency measurement 
  • Period measurement 
  • Pulse measurement
The GRV-IACI-12 mounts on a groov EPIC chassis alongside a GRV-EPIC-PR1 or GRV-EPIC-PR2 processor and other groov I/O modules (analog, discrete, and serial), to provide the mix of signals you need at a specific location.

NOTE: For projects with simple requirements, see the lower-cost GRV-IACIS-12 module, which provides on and off sensing only.

All groov I/O modules are UL/cUL listed and compliant with the ATEX, Low Voltage, and EMC CE and UKCA directives. Each module is factory tested twice before shipment and most modules are guaranteed for life.
