GRV-IDCIFQ-12 module with channel configured as quadrature with index: occasionally, index doesn't update

Symptoms:

Note: This issue applies only to users who configure their modules through OptoMMP. It does not apply to PAC Control or CODESYS users.

If a GRV-IDCIFQ-12 module has a channel configured as quadrature with index, occasionally, the index may not update. The following table illustrates how this issue may affect counter values.

Workaround:

In your programming logic, verify the index value by comparing the number of pulses since the last index (in the above example, that would be the value provided in channel 2) to the index value. If the index value does not match, add one full rotation of pulses.
