Uninstalling one version of OptoDataLink may disrupt another installed version of OptoDataLink

R9.6 to current (may affect earlier versions)

Symptoms:

If you have multiple versions of OptoDataLink installed, when you uninstall any version older than the most current version, you may encounter problems starting or stopping data flows.

Workaround:

If you plan to uninstall one version of OptoDataLink, and plan to use another version of OptoDataLink, install the version you plan to use after uninstalling the other version. If the version you plan to use is already installed, then reinstall it after uninstalling the other version.

Resolution:

Opto 22 is investigating this issue.
