Saving groov Build pages takes a long time, or on GRV-EPIC-PR1 reports 504 Gateway Time-out

groov View R3.1a to current, until fixed
GRV-EPIC-PR1 R1.0.0 to current, until fixed.

Symptoms:

When you try to save pages in groov View's Build mode, saving may take a very long time. Or, on a GRV-EPIC-PR1, you may see a 504 - Gateway Timeout error. All platforms show the slowdown; only the GRV-EPIC-PR1 shows the 504 Gateway Time-out.

The pages are still saved, but Build mode does not receive an acknowledgment that the save succeeded. Without that success acknowledgment, those new pages are left marked as new pages, so if you hit Save again, Build mode sends them to the server as new pages again, and then you get duplicates.

Workaround:

For the GRV-EPIC-PR1, you can edit the project on a different platform and then upload it to the GRV-EPIC-PR1.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue and will include the fix in an upcoming release.
