Restoring a groov RIO in Independent Port Mode may fail if using a pre-4.1.0 firmware backup file that includes Firewall settings

Symptoms:

If restoring a groov RIO in Independent port mode (groov Manage Home > Network > Configure > Port Mode field) with a backup file created in pre-4.1.0 firmware, you may encounter a restore failure if Firewall settings are included in the backup file. The restore fails during the validation of the backup file.

Workaround:

While on the Restore page in groov Manage (Home > Maintenance > Restore), deselect the Firewall option (move the slider to the left so it turns gray) before clicking the Upload Backup button at the bottom of the page.

After the restore operation successfully completes, manually recreate any missing user-created firewall rules for the Eth0, Wlan0, and Tun0 interfaces.
