Validate Recipe File utility in PAC Display fails to report missing blank lines in recipe files

Symptoms:

When using the Validate Recipe File utility in PAC Display, missing blank lines may not be reported, and you may incorrectly receive a Recipe File successfully parsed! message in the results.

If you use a recipe file with missing blank lines in PAC Display Runtime, you may receive errors in the Event Log Viewer, and you may notice that the recipe actions do not work as you intend.

Workaround:

Ensure your recipe files follow the formatting guidelines in the “Basic Recipe File Format” section in the PAC Display User’s Guide (form 1702).

Resolution:
