“Send Communication Handle Command” returns incorrect or generic error codes when an FTP command fails in SoftPAC

Symptoms:

If you have successfully opened an FTP session with a remote FTP server using a communication handle in your PAC Control strategy, you may receive incorrect or generic error codes from “Send Communication Handle Command” in SoftPAC when the following FTP commands fail:

get to retrieve a remote file
appe to append to a remote file
size to get the size of a remote file
delete to delete a remote file
cd to change the working directory
dir to retrieve a directory listing
mkdir to make a directory
rmdir to remove a directory

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue and will include the fix in an upcoming release.
