Can't restore a backup file made by GRV-EPIC-PR1 to a GRV-EPIC-PR2 (or vice versa)

Symptoms:

When you create a backup from a GRV-EPIC-PR1 and then try to restore it to a GRV-EPIC-PR2, groov Manage displays the following error and does not do the restore: The backup file is not compatible. It is for a different device. You should be able to restore backups from one to the other.

Workaround:

Manually edit the info.json file (in the backup file) to remove the line that prevents the restore:

Unzip the backup file into a working directory.
In the working directory, open the info.json file in an editor.
Delete the line containing the following string: "deviceModel": "<product number",
Save the info.json file.
Zip the entire contents of the working directory (do not include the working directory itself) to a new backup file with a new name.
On the target groov EPIC, restore the new backup file (from the groov Manage Home page, click Maintenance > Restore, then Upload Backup) .

Resolution:
