  • GROOV-AT1, GROOV-AT1-SNAP

Symptoms:

If your groov View project has an I/O Unit device and contains gadgets configured to access a memory map address that is not 4-byte aligned, after groov View tries to access that address, it displays yellow triangles for any gadget connected to that I/O Unit device. If you click on the triangle, groov View displays the following message:

Could not connect to the controller. groov will keep trying to connect.
Details: An unknown error occurred while communicating with device OptoMMP@<address>:<port>.
Where <address> and <port> are the IP address and port number of your controller.

Workaround:

If you can, avoid configuring gadgets that access tags with addresses that can't divide evenly by 4.
