groov EPIC PID output doesn't go to low limit when input is out of range

Symptoms:

If you configure a PID to force the output to a specific value when the input is out of range (auto mode only), when the input is out of range, the output remains at its current value.

Workaround:

Modify the PID loop as follows:

Configure the PID to "Switch to manual mode when the input goes out of range".
Add logic to the PAC Control strategy to check the PID mode (by using the PAC Control command GetPidMode) and, if it is in manual mode, set the PID output to the desired value.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
