Momentary buttons may continue writing after release

Symptoms:

A momentary button writes a value once when it is pressed, and another value once when it is released. However, with this issue, the gadget continues writing values after it is released. You might also observe that if you move the cursor off the button, it will stop writing; however, hovering over the button again will cause it to begin writing without clicking.

It might be more likely to happen if:

There is an Image gadget layered underneath the momentary button
You are working with a touchscreen PC.

Workaround:

Click or tap anywhere else on the page to stop the writing.

Resolution:
