FTP sessions won't open; FTP server is inaccessible

Symptoms:

If you are repeatedly opening and closing files or FTP sessions on a SNAP-PAC controller, eventually, attempts to open an FTP session will fail.

Workaround:

Limit the opening and closing FTP sessions and limit opening and closing files. A best practice is to keep communication handles to FTP sessions and files open if they will be accessed multiple times.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
