"Operation Failed; retrying" error when logging into groov using IE on PC or Safari on Mac

Symptoms:

When trying to log into groov using Internet Explorer on a PC or Safari on a Mac, you see the error "Operation Failed; retrying."

This error occurs if the date and time of the groov Box are incorrect (typically by more than 2 weeks).

Workaround:

If the Box is not connected to the Internet, check to make sure the date and time are correct on the groov Box.

If the Box has an Internet connection and you have set the Box to synchronize with an online time server, make sure that the DNS Server and Gateway are properly configured so that the Box can reach the time server.
