Compare SNAP I/O processors! If you're looking for reliable input/output (I/O) modules for your automation system, SNAP I/O is an excellent choice. Field-proven since 1996, SNAP I/O is suited for discrete control, process control, or almost any industrial control, remote monitoring, or data acquisition application.

All SNAP I/O modules are designed, manufactured, and supported in Temecula, California, and tested twice. So reliable, they're guaranteed for life.

Use SNAP I/O in three ways:

  1. As part of a complete SNAP PAC System
  2. As intelligent remote I/O for an Allen-Bradley industrial PLC system
  3. As intelligent distributed I/O for PC-based control

I/O you can count on

  • Discrete, analog, and serial communication—we've got the I/O you need, in stock.
  • We know it'll work, because we've tested each module—twice.
  • Optical and transformer isolation protect control electronics and reduce noise.
  • Most SNAP I/O modules are guaranteed for life.

SNAP analog modules for process control

SNAP analog modules are designed for harsh environments: all are transformer isolated and optically isolated from the field side to the control side. An isolated input module or output module offers channel-to-channel isolation, too.

Each SNAP analog module contains 2 to 32 channels of I/O—software configurable by channel—so a small number of modules can handle a wide range of inputs. Use analog modules for:

  • Temperature monitoring
  • Flow control
  • Valve automation
  • Pump control
  • Air pressure control
  • Drum or tank level control
  • And many other similar industrial control applications
