Opto 22 EtherNet/IP Configurator is free configuration software for preparing Opto 22 SNAP I/O units for use with an Allen-Bradley® PLC system. Use EtherNet/IP Configurator to configure I/O points on a SNAP I/O unit. If your PLC system is based on RSLogix™ programming software, also use the Configurator to define assembly instances.

Opto 22 SNAP I/O units require firmware R8.3 or higher to operate with EtherNet/IP Configurator.

As of version R3.1n, Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP are no longer supported.

Installation requirements:
  • A computer with at least the minimum processor and memory required for your version of Microsoft® Windows®, and Ethernet capability
  • Any of the following operating systems:
    • Microsoft Windows 10 Professional (32-bit or 64-bit)
    • Microsoft Windows 8.1 Professional (32-bit or 64-bit)
    • Microsoft Windows 7 Professional (32-bit or 64-bit)
    • Windows Vista® Business (32-bit only)
  • VGA or higher resolution monitor (Super VGA recommended) Minimum size: 800x600 with small fonts.
  • Mouse or other pointing device
  • Available hard disk space required: 17.9 MB
