Signature Projects

Automation of Six Flags Fiesta Texas:
We have used Opto 22 SNAP PAC and groov RIO & EPIC units to automate Six Flags energy management. They are able to use groov to force on all lighting, HVAC, and monitor what is going on in the park.

Using calendar control, the system is able to decide what lighting comes on and when. The Opto 22 system also controls valves for plumbing to bathrooms, so on hot or cold days the units can adjust water temp accordingly.

The system keeps data logged on what buildings come on and who forces what lighting on, to make it easy for HVAC technicians to decide whether a unit should be forced on in order to heat or cool a building (manual mode).

Partner Overview

Alamo City Energy specializes in Energy Management and building/site automation. We can provide anything from HVAC solutions to simple lighting solutions to keep the power bill at bay. With the help of Opto 22, we can accomplish projects that require automated lighting based on usage of the building. For example, if you are closed on a Sunday, only specific lighting can come on if chosen, or no lighting at all. HVAC wise, we can control any system you want. Whether you want the freezer or AC unit to come on at a specific temperature and controlled from a central computer, or tablets assigned to employees, we can meet all your requirements.
