PAC Display Runtime may be unresponsive or crash when the ODBC SQL connection is unavailable

Symptoms:

PAC Display Runtime Professional may be unresponsive or crash (without an error message or event log) when opening, running, or closing a project that contains an unavailable ODBC SQL connection.

Workaround:

Address any network errors with the ODBC connection at the source (server, firewall, etc.), and ensure there is a stable connection to your database.

If your project references an unused ODBC connection, set the ODBC Data Source option to None in PAC Display Configurator to avoid potential issues. Refer to the PAC Display User's Guide (form 1702) for instructions.
