SNAP-PAC-S1 may enter reset state after storing a large strategy to flash

Symptoms:

After storing a large strategy to flash and rebooting, control engines may enter a state in which they return error code –9 , ‘Timeout. No Response from name of control engine’ in ioControl Debug mode. This state can also occur on the next attempt to download a strategy, or on the next attempt to access the control engine. Along with the error code, the STAT LED flashes a blink code of two green blinks, one solid orange, and 5 red blinks. The control engine then goes into a reset condition.

Restoring factory defaults to the control engine corrects the problem.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
