groov View forces you to change your password every time you log in

Symptoms:

Every time you log in to groov View, a message prompts you to change your password (even if you've already changed it).

Workaround:

Opto 22 recommends users follow these steps:

  1. Log in to groov View as an Admin user.
  2. In groov Build, select Configure > Accounts.
  3. Click the Edit (pencil) button for the operator having this issue.
  4. On the Edit user dialog box, UNcheck "Require password change at next login."
  5. Then click Update User.
Now the operator should be able to log in without being prompted for a new password.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
