Examining a local pointer within a subroutine causes hardware controllers to reset and software controllers to log an error

Symptoms:

If you step into a subroutine that has a local pointer object and then try to examine the pointer, the controller will reset. If you try the same actions using PAC Sim or SoftPAC, the software controller will write a -16 (Bus) error to the queue.

Resolution:
