OptoDataLink doesn't write Int64 values to database

Symptoms:

If you configure OptoDataLink to write Int64 values to a database, OptoDataLink will report an error indicating there is an incorrect number of columns configured in the database.

NOTE: You will also get an error if the database you're using doesn't support Int64 values.
For example, OptoDataLink reports an error if you try to write Int64 values to an older version of Microsoft® Access® that doesn't support Int64. In this case, however, the error is valid, and you'll need to remove the Int64 values from the link or upgrade your database.

Workaround:

Don't use Int64 tags in links.

Resolution:
