On networks without a DHCP server, PAC Manager may be unable to assign IP addresses to E1 and E2 brains

Symptoms:

When your network doesn't have a DHCP server, and your computer's primary network connection is Wireless, PAC Manager will detect E1 and E2 brains on the network, but it may fail to assign an IP Address to the brain when you click the Assign button.

Workaround:

In the Microsoft Windows Control Panel, disable the wireless network interface, and then use PAC Manager to assign an IP address to the brain.
Afterwards, you can re-enable the wireless network interface.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
