SYMPTOMS

If you create a new Opto 22 controller device and select an invalid .idb.txt file (that is, a file that has the correct extension but is not a PAC Control strategy file), the device list will show a controller with no name.

If you update an existing controller with an invalid .idb.txt file, the name of the device and all its tags will disappear.

WORKAROUND

Make sure your .idb.txt file is a valid PAC Control strategy file.

RESOLUTION

Opto 22 is investigating this issue.
