Symptoms:

Log databases in groov 3.2a were inadvertently allowed to grow unchecked. As a result, the file system eventually fills up with log data, and groov runs out of memory, causing these possible symptoms, which can occur independently of each other:

Attempts to download system logs may result in a long wait for the download, followed by a 0 byte file.
Groov may become unresponsive or unreachable, or it may crash.

If your groov system does a lot of logging, this issue may occur more quickly.

Workaround:

On groov Server for Windows, you can clear out the log database by stopping groov and deleting C:\Program Files (x86)\Opto22\groov\logs.db.

No workaround exists for a groov Box.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
