SYMPTOMS

In groov, if you are using more than one OPC UA server, you may see some OPC UA tags failing (displaying the yellow exclamation icon) when they should be working correctly. The same tags might work fine on another page, or if used on the same page more than once, may work in one gadget but not another.

If the OPC UA scanner aborts when scanning tags, a group of tags is affected, and some that should succeed will fail.

WORKAROUND

If you know that any OPC UA tags have issues (for example, if the server is offline for some reason), remove those tags from the page and see if it allows the other tags on that page to work.

The best way is to duplicate the page having errors, and delete the known bad tags from the duplicate page until the upstream OPC UA issue is resolved.
