Versions Affected:

Problem was discovered in version: Firmware R9.5a
Problem is fixed in version: Firmware R9.5b

Resolved In Version:

Problem is fixed in version: Firmware R9.5b

Symptoms:

If you have configured breakpoints in your PAC Control strategy, when you switch from PAC Control debug mode to configure mode, a dialog box asks if you would like to clear all breakpoints. If you choose yes:

  • All breakpoints are cleared
  • The "Break On" flag should also be cleared
However, the "Break On" flag is not being cleared.

Because of this, every subsequent transition into debug mode (with the same strategy), shows the "Break On" indicator, even though no breakpoints are configured. And every subsequent transition from debug to config mode results in a dialog asking if all breakpoints should be cleared, even though there are no breakpoints configured.

Workaround:

You can clear the "Break On" flag by downloading  a different strategy or restarting the controller.
