Control engine ignores Mistic PID output enable options

Symptoms:

When you define a mistic PID in PAC Control, you can set the output to either enabled or disabled for auto and manual modes. When the PID's mode is switched (for example, from manual to auto), however, the enabled/disabled state is not applied to the PID.

This issue affects these PAC Control commands:

  • Set Mistic PID Mode to Auto
  • Set Mistic PID Mode to Manual

Workaround:

Add an instruction to, for example, enable the PID output after any command that places the PID in auto mode.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
