Firefox will not allow copying individual text from groov Event Message logs

Symptoms:

If you're using groov in Firefox, when you click an individual event in the Event Message logs, all the text of the event is highlighted. You cannot copy just a portion of the event text.

This issue affects Firefox only.

Workaround:

Use a different web browser (not Firefox).

Resolution:
