If a Runtime project has several buttons or combo boxes that require constant updating, the system may run out of GDI resources causing odd GUI issues or even a Runtime crash.
This only happens if buttons or combo boxes are touching or within a few pixels of each other, and a dynamically changing non-button graphic or combo box is also touching or within a few pixels of at least one of the buttons or combo boxes.
The updating graphic will force a redraw of the adjacent buttons or combo boxes, which then force a redraw of those adjacent to it, and so on.
This redrawing consumes GDI resources, which are limited on a Windows system. After several minutes or hours, the leaked GDI resources will cause the abnormal behavior.
Move the adjacent graphics so that there are about 10 pixels between each graphic.
