PAC Display graphic security does not correctly check for users in Global Operator defined groups

Applies To:

PAC Display Basic
PAC Display Professional

Versions Affected:

Versions affected: R9.3d – R9.4f
Problem is fixed in version: R9.5a

Resolved In Version:

Problem is fixed in version: R9.5a

Symptoms:

Graphics that have operator-driven attributes can be configured with a username and password for security. In addition, global operator-driven permissions can be configured. However, when attempting to execute a graphic in PAC Display Runtime, when credentials are entered for a user who is a member of a Global Operator group, the operator-driven attribute (ODA) fails.

If the graphic ODA itself is set up to Allow the group, the credentials succeed. It's only when the group is Allowed in the Global Operator security and the user (a member of that group) is not configured in the local graphic's security that access is denied.

Resolution:
