groov Build: Modbus array sizes are not dynamically updated when changed

Symptoms:

In groov Build, when you change the array size for a Modbus/TCP tag using the Configure Devices & Tags dialog box, the input range for a particular gadget is not automatically updated, and you may see an error.

Example:

You create a Modbus/TCP tag that is an array and give it an initial range (for example, 50).
You place a gadget associated with that tag but realize the tag needs a wider range (say, 100), so you edit the range in Configure Devices & Tags.
You select the gadget on the page and click its tag in gadget Properties. In the Update Tag for Gadget dialog box you enter the new array index. However, you get an error stating that the new index value is out of range.

Workaround:

There are two workarounds:

In the Update Tag for Gadget dialog box, open the tag tree and highlight the tag you want to update. Then enter the new array index.

After changing the array size, choose File > Save all changes and switch to groov View. Then go back into groov Build.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
