I/O unit name change not allowed when only correcting upper/lower case

Symptoms:

When editing an existing I/O unit name, if the only change you're making is to correct a typo related to upper/lower case (like changing e2 to E2), you'll see an error message: "This name already exists. Please enter a unique name for the I/O unit."

This issue occurs even if you haven't yet saved the file.

Workaround:

Just change the name to something unique (like E2x), click OK, and then modify it back to what you really wanted (like E2).

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
