E2 shows incorrect counts in OptoMMP protocol for AD20 rate (frequency)

Symptoms:

This issue occurs when you're using an E2 brain board with the OptoMMP protocol and you've followed the instructions in Form 1576 to configure an AD20 module on the E2 with PAC Manager. When you inspect the point in PAC Manager, you find the counts and Engineering Units range from 0 to 25,000 instead of the specified 0-4095.

This issue does not occur when using the E2 with the Optomux protocol.

Workaround:

Instead of using counts, use scaled units and configure the point to have Upper Scaled Units = 4095. In this case, it will give the same number that counts should have.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
