SYMPTOMS

TPO_PERCENT and TPO_PERIOD values cannot be obtained through subscription callbacks. The reported data quality is "OPC_QUALITY_BAD".

WORKAROUND

Replace the MMIO_Cache.def file on your computer as follows:

  1. If OptoOPCServer is running on your computer, shut it down.
  2. Go to the Opto22 website and search for "MMIO_Cache" to find the download "MMIO_Cache.def file for KB83848". 
  3. Download the file to your computer.
  4. Replace the existing MMIO_Cache.def file.
    For a 32-bit version of Windows, replace the file in C:\Windows\System32\OptoCom
    For a 64-bit version of Windows, replace the file in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\OptoCom
  5. Restart OptoOPCServer.

RESOLUTION

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
