SYMPTOMS

When a restore defaults operation is completed and the hostname or IP address of the groov box is re-entered. The groov box does not proceed to the "Welcome to groov" screen and is not restored to its factory state.

RESOLUTION

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.

WORKAROUND

Follow these steps to restore the groov to factory defaults:

  1. Turn the groov off by momentarily pressing the On/Off, and waiting for all LEDs to turn off.
  2. Press the On/Off button and hold it until the STOR LED blinks orange.
  3. When the STOR and SYS LEDs stop blinking, wait another 30 seconds.
  4. The groov defaults are restored and the following screen is displayed when the box is accessed by hostname or the IP address assigned:

groov is now ready to be setup.
