Renaming a tag or using Find and Replace within Tag Names causes OptoScript errors

Symptoms:

OptoScript code that contains a renamed variable or where the Find and Replace within a Tag name feature was used, may become corrupted. The OptoScript code may be missing several characters as a result of the change. This only affects OptoScript blocks that have many (hundreds) lines of code and that contain the modified variable.
