Cannot paste or duplicate objects in PAC Display Configurator

Symptoms:

Pasting (Edit > Paste) an object after copying (Edit > Copy) it in PAC Display Configurator does not work. The Duplicate (Edit > Duplicate) command also does not paste an object in a window. No object or sizing handles are displayed as a result of attempting to use these commands.
