Numerous writes by an OPC client may delay data updates

Symptoms:

If an OPC client writes numerous data items, the client may not receive data updates from OptoOPCServer. The client appears to "freeze", as if there are no data updates.

For example, some OPC clients may use the data update as a heartbeat indicator that OptoOPCServer is running. When data updates cease, the client switches to a backup server.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
