Interrupting a strategy download may result in a control engine -9 timeout

Symptoms:

If a regular or online PAC Control strategy download is interrupted for longer than the timeout period set to acquire the control engine port (typically set to 45.0 Sec), then communication to the control engine cannot be resumed unless the control engine is turned off and on. Various factors, such as a detached Ethernet cable, can cause the interruption.

A -20 Device busy error is returned until the set timeout is exceeded. Thereafter, the -9, Timeout. No response from device. error is reported until the unit is power cycled.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
